"Bamboo Sumi-E" Workshop at Ikebana Flower

Nashua, NH - Ikebana Flower is offering a one-day workshop in brush painting taught by Bruce Iverson on Saturday November 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Lunch on your own).

Bamboo is a true symbol of longevity and endurance in Asia. In Ikebana (Japanese Flower Arrangements), bamboo is used in all New Year arrangements to wish the viewer strength and health in the New Year.

Techniques for painting bamboo will be taught in a step-by-step method that will guarantee your success. Come spend a quiet and relaxing Saturday with us, listening to soothing music, drinking green tea and brush painting.

No previous art experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. The cost for the whole-day workshop is $125 ($100 for returning students and Ikebana students) includes all the materials (Brush, ink, paper, etc.) to be used.
