Nashua, NH - A one-day workshop in brush painting including calligraphy and the painting of plum blossoms will be demonstrated and taught by Bruce Iverson.

Mr. Iverson has studied with three Chinese master brush painters, and his work has been exhibited in many juried regional shows and is part of private collections in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

This workshop is for people with prior experience interested in advancing their learning and use of the tools and techniques of brush painting in ink and in color. Subjects covered will include calligraphy and the painting of flowers.

You will leave the workshop with the ability to work on your own and to continue with more advanced subjects. Skills acquired can easily be adapted to other art forms such as ceramics, fabric decoration, and Feng Shui.

Against a backdrop of meditative music, brush painting is a relaxing way to expand your creative abilities and take part in an old cultural tradition.
