NASHUA -- Local flower boutique Ikebana Flower received the trophy for "Best Artistic Display" at the 2007 New Hampshire Orchid Society's 16th annual Orchid Show held at the Crowne Plaza hotel on Feb. 24-25.

Antoinette Drouart, owner of Ikebana Flower on West Pearl Street and a certified teacher of Ikebana Japanese flower arrangements, and four of her students exhibited a total of seven flower arrangements using orchids.

Drouart received the trophy for "Best Artistic Display." Ikebana student florists Nancy Stewart and Ruth Lyons received first place ribbons for their arrangements. Sarah Roche received a "second place" ribbon and Lynn Wymann received a "third place" ribbon. Wymann also received a blue ribbon for "first-time exhibitor."

Ikebana Flower holds Japanese flower arrangements classes weekly for all levels at the store's 95 West Pearl St. location in downtown Nashua.
