IKEBANA FLOWER, NASHUA'S FLOWER BOUTIQUE, RECEIVES THE "BEST ARTISTIC DISPLAY TROPHY" AT THE 15TH ANNUAL 2006 ORCHID SHOW - A WINTER WONDERLAND OF ORCHIDS - SPONSORED BY THE NH ORCHIDS SOCIETY ON FEBRUARY 18 AND 19 AT THE CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL IN NASHUA.

Antoinette Drouart, owner of Ikebana Flower on West Pearl Street in Nashua, and a certified teacher of Ikebana Japanese flower arrangements, exhibited two flower arrangements using orchids. Drouart also gave a demonstration/talk on the history and techniques of Japanese flower arrangements using orchids. Drouart also received the "Best in Class" ribbon for her two arrangements, "Winter Elegance" and "A Message in Purple" - pictured above.
Several of her advanced students also participated in the show. Nancy Stewart received one first place riboon for her arrangement called "Helen's Choice" - pictured right and Ruth Lyons received a second place ribbon for "Artist's Point Ecstasy" - pictured left.
Japanese flower arrangements classes are held weekly for all levels at Ikebana Flower, 95 West Pearl Street in Downtown Nashua.
