New flower shop in Nashua wins awards at annual orchid show

NASHUA – Ikebana Flower, a new flower boutique, received the best new exhibitor Michael Wirth Memorial Trophy from the New Hampshire Orchids Society at the 14th annual Orchid Magic show held recently at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Antoinette Drouart, owner of Ikebana Flower and a teacher of Ikebana Japanese flower arrangement, exhibited two flower arrangements using orchids and also gave a demonstration on the history and techniques of Japanese flower arrangements.

In addition to her award, she received two blue ribbons: Best in Class and first place in floral design for her two arrangements.
