The Northeast Cultural Coop is currently organizing a series of workshops called "East Asia's Influence in Making Art: Japan". These workshops meant for teachers, artists, and others, are made possible through a grant from the Freeman Foundation. As part of the series, a "Bamboo Basket Flower Arrangement Workshop" was hosted at Ikebana Flower.

On the first day (April 13th 2007), workshop participants worked at Gallery One in Nashua with bamboo basket artist, Nancy Moore Bess, to make four small baskets using bamboo, rattan, and other natural materials.

On the second day, Antoinette Drouart, a certified Sogetsu Ikebana teacher, and owner of Ikebana Flower in Nashua, conducted a workshop in her shop on how to make Japanese flower arrangements for each of the four baskets.
